Job Description
- Supervises the workshop and lead the service team to produce quality work.
- Ensures full utilization of workshop available labor and resources to achieve planned operational targets.
- Follows up productivity, efficiency and utilization for all workshop team and evaluates them.
- Gives practical assistance, on-the-job training and technical advice to subordinates.
- Ensures that the workshop team carries out the jobs within the allotted time, and ensures the most effective use of available time and equipments.
- Ensures all pre-defined orders are approved and obtains customer approval for all additional work.
- Ensures that the workshop observes all warranty process conditions.
- Ensures that all required information on each job card for each job is properly maintained.
- Identifies and organizes staff training needs for improving technical knowledge and job performance.
- Informs the Service Manager if necessary on any unclear working instructions or costly extensions on the repair.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. of mechanical engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in the field, with minimum 2 years of experience in a supervision position..
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical issues, warranty, service and general repairs.
- Technically competent with ability to train others.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- Strong leading, supervising and teamwork skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Customer and quality focus.
- Computer skills: Microsoft office package.
- Very good command in English.
