Job Scope:
- We are hiring a talented Graphic Designer with experience in both print and electronic media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
- Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
- They develop the overall layout and production design for our different products and graphical media.

- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mock-ups, web design and multimedia presentation.
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and knowledge of Google Material Design is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients.
- Analytical skills; Must be able to look at their work from the point of view of their consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the client’s desired message.
- Artistic ability; Must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers. They produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program.
- Communication skills; Must communicate with clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information.
- Computer skills; Ability to use specialized graphic design software to prepare their designs.
- Creativity; Must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. They develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of their clients.
