Job Description
- Managing a flagship retail space of 300sqm in Cairo selling premium handbags and accessories
- Ensuring the store is in a good presentable state at all time
- Visual merchandising and display of goods
- Managing (recruiting, training, appraising, motivating, etc.) Sales Assistants and Assistant Managers to ensure sales targets are met and a superior level of service is delivered
- Dealing with customer complaints
- Managing daily cash intake, petty cash and submitting expense reports to the Accounts department on behalf of the retail division.
- Submitting daily, weekly, monthly sales reports to company Management
- Creating in-depth sales forecasts and undertaking trend analysis and competitor surveys
- Conducting pilot studies and advising Production in the development of new collections and models
- Helping Management plan the production schedule and distribution of goods to stores
- Managing stock levels and stock rotation across main warehouse and other branches
- Creating proposals to increase footfall, sales and brand awareness
- Monitoring and managing marketing campaigns and promotions once approved by Management
- Undertaking all administrative tasks relating to retail branches (payment of utility bills, etc.)
- Ultimately responsible for meeting KPI’s and contributing revenue to the Retail Division
- The candidate may be expected to divide working time between the retail branches and the Head Office / Factory premises.
Job Requirements
- Must have excellent command of English and Arabic
- Must be presentable
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be numerate
- Must be computer literate
- Must be authoritative when necessary
- Must demonstrate very good attention to detail
- Previous work in retail at management level essential
- Previous work in fashion retail highly desirable
- Must be tenacious and demonstrate a good work ethic
- Driving license holders preferred
