Job Description
- Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, to sell our medical products
- Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.
- Build relationships with medical staff.
- Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Corresponding with customers via telephone, email or other means to take orders, solicit opinions, provide information about new products
- Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts;
- Making presentations to hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector.
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables.
- Regularly attending company meetings
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
- Serve as either inside or outside doors
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
- Other duties as assigned.
