About the Job
Provide inputs to the Management on optimizing IT spend on hardware in scope
Provide timely response / troubleshooting to customer queries and complaints regarding hardware and network services
Assist in configuring, installing, testing, maintaining, tuning, documenting, and supporting LAN, WAN, switches, routers, Citrex, BPX, Fire suppression and DC cooling systems in accordance with the corporate policies, strategies and plans.
Provide basic training on using computers and applications to Company users. If required
Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting of all IT related problems, including hardware / software, passwords, and printer problems
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and advise users on appropriate action
Load the operating system on PCs in accordance with company policy
Adhere to maintenance of software upgrade schedules (e.g. running patches) for individual desktops
Maintain desktop performance standards and periodically report on these
Operate the spares inventory of IT infrastructure like printer, printer toners, desktops, cables etc.
