Job Description
- Prepare analytical studies & statistics for the pre-cost calculation compared to Actual cost for the vessel operations, the number of equipment, gears, labors, drivers, and shifts after discussion with the port operation’s manager and supervisor in order to take corrective actions to improve department productivity rates.
- Prepare periodical reports regarding costs of the all types of operations with analysis and suggestions.
- Prepare , analyze the operation statement of facts as well as the daily, weekly, and monthly reports and giving feedback to line managers & top management
- Prepare monthly operating results against operational target.
- Search on new techniques to improve productivity rates
- Apply the technical know how of lashing gears and equipment on operation process according to different Cargo types ,Weight and volumes in different type of vessels
- Prepare Lifting plan for heavy and general cargo according to standards and QHSE system ,
- Prepare technical report for equipment status and performance
- Execute and follows up the implementation of the corrective and preventive actions.
- Research methodologies and technical information according to technical office supervisor instruction
- Execute technical proposals that already approved and feed the operation back with necessary Precautions that should be considered
- Study any potential risk that may occur in, business, market, reputation and assets, identify, assess threats, put plans and recommend how to avoid.
- Follow QHSE systems, procedures, instructions and standards and ensure that are always maintained.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in production engineering
Previous Experience:
- At least one year experience within production planning
Language Skills:
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Ability to adapt with new software technology
- MS Project Management and Internet
