Job Description
- Maintains safety and environment policies application according to O10HSAS 18001-2007 and ISO 14001-2004
- Maintains safety, quality and environmental objectives based on company policies and goals.
- Develop, Execute and update HSE systems at all company’s ports Conformity with labor law and HSE office and other supervisory requirements.
- Suggests methods/alternative methods for improving the safety systems as well as the service quality at the port.
- Prepares department budget in coordination with top managers.
- Responsible for investigation of all operation incidents, accident, and Near Miss and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
- Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the Company and Develop preventive action to avoid reoccurred the root cause of accident
- Abide by Track, analyze and communicate changes in regulatory framework & laws, and generate responses accordingly.
- Analyzes data, evaluates, registers and reports to the top management to take decisions needed for continuous improvement, corrective and preventive actions in cases of its implementation and its effectiveness, safety audits (internal, external), nonconforming reports, management reviews meeting’s recommendations, customers’ feedback and complaints
- Protects company assets, updates and follows safety store by checking the actual stock frequently
- Reviews site inspections, infrastructure, and assessments, establishing inspection criteria, communicating it, and providing firm guidance and advice to management and operational staff
- Solve any problems and participates in overcoming any obstacles that may arise during the application of the system.
- Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, training and preparedness across the Company to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs
- Implements, monitors, controls, trains and updates safety work instructions.
- Guides and instructs workers in inspection and testing in order to ensure regular control over materials, safety tools and equipment, facilities, and services.
- Ensures that customer complaints regarding safety are being solved and keeps track/record of the cause.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent,
- Very good communication skills (oral and written) in both English and Arabic
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Skills Required : Time management, decision-making, communications, good public relations and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Must have the ability to sense and identify hazards and risks, identify problems, prioritize tasks and set deadlines.
