Business Development Executive

Main Duties:

• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
• Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
• Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
• Gathering market and customer information;
• Identifying service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer; Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
• Coordinating and supports the creation of website content, social media, print and out-of-home advertising production.
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
