Job Description
- Follow up daily, weekly and monthly operation plan for the equipment and determine the most appropriate equipment for each request based on cargo type and size and fill the required document according to QHSE system
- Analyzes the best utilization of equipment, prepare post operation analysis on weekly basis according to specific standards ,the best condition ,lower cost , operation circumstances, equipment status , ports conditions, safety conditions, weather impact, fuel consumption, peak,…etc.).
- Prepare Equipment reports that allow Port operation manager to evaluate overall operational efficiency like Driver activity, Driver performance, Fuel consumption.
- Find new ways to enhance performance productivity ,
- Receives and revises moving orders, operations and maintenance reports; and ensures problems are solved in coordination with Maintenance & Repair team at a minimum cost and according to operational standards;
- Discusses with port operation manager, Maintenance and repair supervisor , and subordinates to resolve maintenance problems and ensures that safety, quality control, and maintenance schedules comply with operation plan;
- Follows up the different periodical maintenance programs
- Records the detailed performed repair in the respective form
- Follows up the yearly inspection plan in coordination with maintenance & repair for all equipment
- Follows up the implementation of procedures and work instructions of the System.
- Participates in the preparation and follows up the implementation of the corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare weekly ,monthly report on cost effectiveness , usage, fuel/maintenance/repair/ expenses and overall analysis of equipment expenses
- Discusses with port operation manager, Maintenance and repair supervisor , and subordinates to resolve maintenance problems and ensures that safety, quality control, and maintenance schedules comply with operation plan;
- Tracks, monitors and keeps time-meter and records for all equipment regarding:
- Equipment fuel consumption, timer and fuel tank refill;
- Different oil consumption for different equipment and oil purchasing and storage schedules;
- Responsible for Oil and filter inspection and replacement;
- Schedules for equipment repair, preventive and routine maintenance, and breakdowns to avoid any delays;
- Responsible for time meter and records for all equipment and gear usage, and personnel
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in logistics, business administration, or engineering background.
Language Skills:
- English (read, write and speak) fluently
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Ability to adapt with new software technology
