Job Description
- Develop high quality, advanced applications for Android platform
- Deal with previously developed applications, read the documentation, navigate the code, debug and modify, add/remove new features and enhance app performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features including app-security related features.
- Work with outside data sources and API’s.
- Participate in developing the user experience.
- Unit-testing the code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- 2+ years of Android development experience.
- Have published at least one original Android app.
- Experience in dealing with third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience in developing SDKs.
- Solid knowledge of different development platforms and the full mobile development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Working knowledge of dealing with project management platforms like Atlasssian's Jira/Confluence is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux and networking, specially wireless, is a plus.
