Job Description

  • The Candidate will work closely with the Country Manager and Group Operations teams to manage all aspects of payments operations in Egypt.

 

Job Description

  • Own and manage key operational relationships, including technology partners, banks, and service providers. Coordinate with counterparties at respective partners to ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable operations in line with operational objectives and Service Level Agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior Payments leadership to enhance and develop the operations functions and team. Define, communicate, implement and monitor operations plans including relevant processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage all aspects of onboarding, operations, support, and reporting for clients in accordance with contractual obligations, service standards, and organizational KPIs.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of payment operations (relevant to horizontal/vertical responsibility area) – including collaboration and coordination with engineering and product teams.
  • Design, optimize and enhance operational procedures to increase operational efficiency, automate tasks, enhance reliability and reduce errors.
  • Design and implement monitoring and reporting procedures, modules, and dashboards.
  • Work with analytics and business intelligence teams to ensure relevant KPI and deep business insights are captured, assessed, and communicated.
  • Support group-wide teams were applicable through sharing expertise, knowledge, and insights.
  • Recruit, select, train and manage operations team members. This shall encompass setting work objectives, annual targets, performance KPIs as well as appraisal and assessments.
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to planning teams, including budgeting and financial information.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 4+ years of operations experience at a high-growth technology company (preferably in the Payments or FinTech space).
  • Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, operational, financial, and technical elements affecting Payment processing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high-performance teams (preferably in a mission-critical environment).
  • The excellent analytical, deduction, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
