Job Description

Our client, is a leading local company in the field of agriculture and poultry farming, is looking for Electrical Maintenance Manager (slaughterhouse):

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
  • Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices.
  • Supervises workers engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Supervises employees who maintain, repair and service plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • Directs workers engaged in major maintaining and repairing building utility systems such as electrical wiring and controls, heating, and ventilating systems.
  • Control the ongoing repair and period maintenance budgets in line with the fiscal plan.
  • Implement cost reductions to offset negative or unplanned variance to the fiscal plan while achieving proposed True Efficiency objectives.
  • On a regular basis, meet with the Operations Departments to review equipment maintenance issues with overall goal to maintain a True Efficiency index which is in line with the strategic long range plan objectives.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and provide vision for technical improvement across the plant.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure spare parts availability and control of assets is maintained.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and work with maintenance staff to drive capability.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the Food Safety Management System and communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System.
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs for both maintenance and production team members.
  • Develop and implement both preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Provide support as needed on all shifts, across all the days of the week.

Job Requirements

Experience:

  • Poultry/food manufacturing, refrigeration and ammonia systems, rendering and heating system.
  • Must have experience in a poultry processing environment.
  • 5+ year’s relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially those governing the food industry.
  • Knowledge of Boiler and steam line system.
  • Knowledge of compressor air system.
  • Knowledge of heating system.
  • Knowledge of generator power station.
  • Soled knowledge with poultry control panels.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours/shifts as needed.
  • Must be graduated from engineering faculty (mechatronic engineer) or electric base engineer.
