Job Description
Job Purpose
- To support the HR Manager, HR team and the operations teams with the implementation of new plans and initiatives, data gathering and streamlining, interviewing and selection, on-boarding new employees, follow up on performance evaluations as well as work on ensuring HR policies and procedures are updated, adhered to, clarified and consistently implemented
Job Description:
- Follow up on the implementation of HR policies and procedures, recruitment, joining formalities, in addition to launching and implementing HR projects and new initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures, offer support and clarifications to assist the HR teams on the ground.
- Coordinate with the HR team and department managers to prepare the annual manpower plan
- Support department managers in the sourcing and recruitment of key positions, monitor the implementation of a consistent recruitment and on-boarding process
- Work on launching new motivational programs and cultural activities
- Work with the training team on people development and career progression
- Conduct regular station visits, mingle with employees, understand daily work issues and come up with proactive initiatives to improve employee engagement and enhance performance
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and present reports to management
- Conduct coaching and counseling sessions to employees and offer support whenever needed
- Participate in employee related investigations and propose suitable actions on corrective behavior, in line with company culture, policies and labor laws
- Follow up on the preparation of all needed arrangements for new employee joining and orientation
- Ensure the accuracy of available employee data and follow up on obtaining any missing documents from employees
- Prepare all needed arrangements for new joiners orientation, welcome kit, coordinate with managers on buddy assignment and the trainers on the induction plans
- Answer employee questions and clarify policies and internal regulations
- Conduct routine visits to all locations to be present with employees, listen to propositions and complains and work with the local teams to improve employee engagement
- Support continuous improvement by learning innovative HR methods, analyzing current practices and propose continuous improvement.
- Performs all duties as directed by the direct manager.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification / Experience / Training
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management or related subjects is required
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as an HR generalist
- Experience in initiating HR projects and implementing employee events
- Strong local experience in labor laws and employment legislations
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge in HR leading practices, country labor regulations, recruitment practices
- Knowledge in different HR methodologies, employee development and cultural activities
- Experience in HR operations and employee services
Behavioral Competencies
- Excellent English language and communication skills, Arabic language is a plus
- Creative and fun, proactive, friendly, energetic and team oriented
- Flexible to travel frequently to all other stations
- Able to work under pressure, multi task, find solutions and provide support where needed
