Job Description
Main Duties:
- Communicate with customers, coworkers, and other departments to facilitate the movement of freight and associated documentation that require special handling.
- Keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information.
- Perform and implement all custom clearance activities.
- coordinate in coordinate in Follow up all incoming shipments
- Following up with Operation department and our suppliers and purposes
- Coordinating with the Clearing Agents and prepare supporting documents required for clearance.
- coordinate in Following up with the Freight Forwarders, couriers and shipping lines for freight quotations and price lists for inbound and outbound shipments
- Maintain an exceptionally clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist customers in import/export clearance by providing custom declarations for shipment transactions.
- Coordinate with shipping forwarders to obtain and update the shipment tracking information for customers.
- Arrange and negotiate road, rail, sea or air freight rates with carriers.
