Job Description
Purpose:
- Work with the business development team as the key technical advisor. Identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues and determine pricing plans and discount rates to assure complete customers satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Identify sales opportunities and customer’s needs to help future growth.
- Assist in the development of the technical solution design processes for the bids and proposals.
- Advice and guide the team members on pricing options for different bids and proposals.
- Prepare and complete technical tenders’ documents and the proposals submitted to the consultants.
- Ensure that the tenders and business proposals meet all relevant specification and are of a standard that guarantees the best possible chance of securing tender bid.
- Follow-up with customers and customers as necessary , address and resolve technical inquiries and problems.
- Work to achieve annual sales and revenue targets set by the business development manager.
- Prepare weekly status reports of the ongoing projects and future projects as required.
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Educated to degree level with Mechanical engineering background
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience.
- Experience in producing "Technical" bids and proposals.
Skills:
- Build relationships with customers , suppliers and tendering body / authority in different sectors
- Develop new customers and business opportunities
- Strong communication , interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of English language
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
