Job Description
- Engaging in Business Development activities to identify new business opportunities for the growth of the department.
- Building and maintaining vendor relations.
- Increasing our presence in the market through retail distribution and projects channels.
- Increasing market awareness for the Gewiss brand & product portfolio.
- Leading, managing, coaching and training the sales team (for retail distribution and projects).
- Forecasting the expected future sales performance, setting sales targets and forecasting the needed budget to attain the targets.
- Ensuring the achievement of sales targets and controlling the department’s spending in accordance with the budget.
- Establishing new relationships and maintaining existing relationships with project clients and distributors.
- Nourish relationships with existing network with construction project consultants/contractors/consulting companies to generate new project leads
- Registering Gewiss with Construction, Contracting and Engineering Consultation Offices and following-up on the registration process until listed
- Networking to identify new clients/projects who would benefit from the Gewiss product portfolio.
- Identifying relevant tenders to participate in, to support with achieving the sales targets.
- Conducting market visits to existing & prospective clients to make sales pitches and promote the Gewiss brand
- Manage the technical team and monitor their presentations/pitches to demonstrate how the Gewiss brand products will meet specific client needs
- Filtering the Gewiss product portfolio to list and identify the relevant products for the Egyptian market based on your knowledge of the market
- Managing and determining customer/project requirements in light of the company’s product portfolio. Work with the technical team to present the adequate product information accordingly
- Persuading clients that the Gewiss product(s) will best satisfy their needs amongst all other market competitors
- Analyzing costs and sales data to produce performance and profitability insights
- Preparing reports for the top management with the key insights & forecasts
- Keeping up with the market’s latest updates. Monitoring marketing surveys and keeping up with competitors’ prices, sales strategies, product offerings and competitive advantages
Job Requirements
Years of experience: 7+ years of experience with Previous relevant experience with retail and projects sales with a similar product portfolio in electrical filed is a must
Education level: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Languages: English and Arabic
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
