Job Description
- We are looking for a junior PHP, Laravel developer backend developer to work from home for our new StartUp
- Writing code for primary application.
- Preparing application for a live environment.
- Unit-Testing and End-to-End testing of code.
- Determine time estimates to complete tasks.
Job Requirements
- Understand Software Requirements and Specifications.
- Adept in SDLC and Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Lean, FDD)
- Adept in PHP (7.4 or 8.0)
- Has adept knowledge in OOP (Object-oriented Analysis and Design)
- Has adept knowledge in Design principles (SOLID) and patterns (e.g. Strategy.)
- Has strong knowledge in Relational Database Concepts and in SQL
- Has strong knowledge of MySQL DBMS. (knowledge of MongoDB is a plus).
- Has a strong understanding of the Laravel Framework.
- Has at least 1 year of professional experience (not just side projects)
- Has a strong internet connection (We're working remotely from home)
- Has a good understanding of APIs and Web services.
- Knows, and follows, the rules of clean code.
- Knows Version Control using Git and has a GitHub account.
