Job Description
- Investigate the site and establish fixed control points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Direct surveyors to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
- Prepare, or supervise the preparation of, all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
- Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
- Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy and perform periodical professional maintenance and calibration to equipment.
- Supervise ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
- Present daily report to the management with the surveying progress and comments.
- Monitor team performance and ensure all members are using the appropriate safety tools.
