Job Description
- Assisting the F&B management in supervising & implementing the Operational Standards
- Assists in preparing the yearly budgets and the objectives for the outlets
- Monitor the sales and the number of covers on daily basis and make sure it is on line or exceeding with the budget.
- Implementing and following up the yearly outlet promotional plan, meet deadline and related tasks.
- Ensures food and beverage sanitation, and hygiene according to standard.
- Supervises the overall food and beverage service of guests insuring that it is carried out according to the service standards.
- Fills the outlet log books regarding revenue, achieved number of covers, guest complains, maintenance issues …etc.
- Controls damages and losses in the entire food and beverage outlets.
- Recommends and provide input in the staff yearly training plan.
- Trains the staffs according to the yearly training plan.
- Trains the head waiter, captains, waiters / waitresses and bus boys / girls to the service of guests according to the policies.
- Trains the staff in menu pronunciation and in ingredients contents.
- Handles and knows company’s fire and safety precautions and how to operate the restaurants firefighting equipment.
- Checks all menus, wine lists and chef suggestions to ensure that all printed guests supplies are clean, free of spots, marks, rough edges or creased corners.
- Keeps critical equipment properly shelled always and locked in their appropriate cabinet with a key control system set with the Food and Beverage General Manager.
- Keeps opening and closing hours as per policy.
- Evaluates employees’ performance to point out the gap of the actual standard performance done by the employee against company standard performance in conjunction with F&B General Manager and suggests employee transfer.
- Inspects employees to ensure that they are in proper uniform well-groomed and clean.
- Applies in a fairly manner, disciplinary actions.
- Promoting outlets’ services, entertainment, facilities, etc.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- Experience from: 9 - 15 years.
- F&B experience is a MUST.
- Ability to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent grooming standards.
- Excellent (spoken / written) Arabic & English.
- Willingness to develop team members.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Males only.
