Job Description
- SparkySmart is a UK based startup with an office in Cairo, our main goal is to become a one-stop-shop for those building a smart home, learning about it, or working in the field.
Job Duties:
- Digital Marketing Manager will oversee Digital Media campaigns which include but are not limited to: research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- The position reports to CEO.
- Within the organization, the position has working relationships with the CTO, business development team, engineering team, as well as the service providers.
What will I be accountable for?
- Full responsibility of our inbound/outbound marketing strategies including social media, blogs and lead generation.
- Work with internal & external key stakeholders to create a digital media strategy that collaborates with PR & marketing campaigns
- Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in designated industries
- Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience in target market
- Analyze and report digital media actions on a regular basis for successes and new opportunities
- Work with team to create engaging and professional visuals that reflect our brand in digital channels
- Customize digital media pages, develop supporting offline collateral, create original content to enrich & grow our digital media engagement
- Manage digital media team members’ (includes interns and contractors) & vendors to conduct team meetings, advise on projects, and report results
- Continue to refine and define digital media marketing process
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English
- Proven success with digital media and PR campaigns in any hi-tech market
- Experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Knowledge and experience with common monitoring and reporting tools for digital media
- A keen eye for details, quality management, production experience, time management and multiple team coordination.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the execution of digital marketing communications.
- Demonstrated skills on budget & deliverables management.
- Team work spirit is a must
- Ability to manage & implement multiple projects at a time.
- Required skills & pleasant personality to work with clients, vendors and staff from other areas of the company.
- Reliable and highly-motivated self-starter
