Teachers

Teachers (English - Science - Mathematics - German - French - Social Studies English)

• Creates class curriculum and syllabus that is appropriate for grade or class being taught.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching outlines based on the MOE learning outcomes and STEM approach.
• Teach using various methodologies, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions and laboratory experiences.
• Plan, develop, and utilize a variety of instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of pupils from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds who possess a range of mental and emotional maturity.
• Provide group and individual instruction to motivate pupils and effectively utilize the time available for instructional activities.
• Perform curriculum and instructional development activities.
• Conducts classroom and lab activities according to program requirements.

Student Growth and Development:

• Conduct ongoing formative assessments of student understanding in order to provide timely feedback to students and guide instruction.
• Help students develop appropriate study methods and habits.

Classroom Management:

• Create and cultivate a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Manage student behavior through a shared understanding amongst teachers and students of fair and equitable class rules, procedures, and consequences.
