Job Description
Leading multi-national company with offices in New Maadi looking for experienced LAMP engineers. Must be able to work with teams and being able to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
Responsibilities
- The LAMP Stack Developer will plan, design, develop, code and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products; revise and refine as required
- The LAMP Stack Developer will participate in development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems
- Be able to conceptualize and develop prototype quickly in working with Product and Architect
- Design, implementation, testing and release of new application features, across the full technology stack.
- Research and repair of defects found through automated or manual testing, or from user feedback
- Study of emerging and established technologies to support web-scale growth.
- Work with testing team.
- Be into fast, iterative development on a living, heavily used platform
- Have written code against many Web APIs, maybe even authored their own
- Experienced with version control software, GIT and/or SVN

Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience
- Familiarity with large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems, design patterns, and UNIX/Linux environments
- Must have good experience working on LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
- Proficiency in browser-side client technologies including AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS
- Proficiency in JSON and XML, regular expressions, and version control.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in user interface design (web or mobile) is preferred.
