Job Description
- Reviewing requirements sent by the product manager and provide feedback/comments in order to ensure the validity of requirements before starting with the development
- Setting the estimation for each task before assigning to team members in order to calculate the total effort needed for the project and help set the plan for the team and identify milestones and delivery dates
- Providing technical coaching and support to team members during the execution of tasks
- Preparing plans for all team members based on the estimations as well generating individual plans in order to be able to follow up on the work progress of the team
- Monitoring the plans for all team members on a daily basis and take all necessary actions in order to meet the deadlines in case of schedule or effort variation
- Preparing patches by compiling all the necessary files and database scripts in order to be sent to the release manager and then be sent to schools
- Coding certain tasks, in certain situations when needed in order to support the team
- Assisting the IT support team in troubleshooting issues reported by schools in order to be able to reproduce a certain problem happening in a school and assign it to the right team member to be solved
- Conducting code reviews for all team members in order to detect and treat discrepancies and ensure the code verifies the coding standards and that the code is optimized for performance and stability, and thus prevent bugs in schools
- Communicating SABIS® policies and procedures to team members (vacations, sickness, attendance etc.)
- Conducting performance evaluation for team members
- Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by management.
