Job Description
As the .Net Team Lead, the individual relies on significant experience in the development and deployment of large-scale Web and Desktop-based applications to drive technical innovation of the company’s products and services. It is preferable to have background about Aviation Services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team, promoting the creation of elegant, practical solutions to meet the company’s business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for low level design and involved on the high-level design and architecture.
- Participate on the development of core parts.
- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team members.
- Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables.
- Be committed to the deadlines through follow up of tasks with team members.
- Research and actively learn about new technologies and introduce them into the infrastructure.
- Resolve technical issues that are escalated by junior and mid-level developers.
- Handle any technical communications with the other offshore teams.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Computer Science Degree.
- 6+ years of object oriented programming experience.
- 5+ years of ASP.NET programming experience.
- 1+ year of Desktop Development.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Strong experience in Agile “Scrum” methodology
SKILLS:
- Expertise in both backend and frontend solutions using ASP.net frameworks.
- Professional skills in web services (SOAP – RESTFUL)
- Solid object oriented development concepts and design patterns.
- Expertise in working with a major MVC Frameworks.
- Professional experience in MS SQL and TSQL
- Background for Desktop Development is a Plus.
- Ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast pace environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
- Expert knowledge of .Net related development technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Database Concepts.
- Work experience using a bug /task tracking application.
