Job Responsibilities:
- Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
- Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
- Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
- Own one or more modules of the project under development
- Mentor team members with the assistance of PM/Architect
- Flexible in working under changing and different work settings.
- Maintain high team morale.

Job Requirements
- 3+ Years of Java experience.
- Development building internet-based applications with multiple languages (ex. Java, C#) and frameworks (ex. Spring, Angular, REST)
- 3+ years experience with application, web and automation servers (ex. Apache Tomcat, Jenkins)
- Excellent command in using Java frame work (J2EE, Hibernate, JPA/EJB, spring core)
- Spring Framework, hibernate, JPA/EJB
- Liferay and telco background is a plus.
- Ability to interface with huge databases with high performance is a must.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a technical project role with a proven ability to effectively delegate work to your resources and deliver assigned software components on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database development and experience with multiple relational DBMS’s (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and non-relational DBMS’s such as MongoDB
- Strong desire to coach associates in personal development and ability to set clear expectations
- Some previous technical leadership experience with both on and offshore Developers
- Ability to quickly establish partnerships with functional group leaders and other departments
- Liferay and telco background is a plus.
