Job Summary
The procurement supervisor is responsible for monitoring the procurement process and keeping up-to-date accurate records for all approved suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the purchasing staff.
- Collecting procurement plans from all company units and consequently developing a quarterly procurement plan.
- Developing annual and quarterly budgets.
- Reviewing the suppliers’ files to ensure all the required paperwork is included and the contract is up-to-date.
- Supervising the implementation of online purchasing as well as payment.
- Preparing and submitting a monthly status report to the administration manager detailing the work progress in the procurement department.
- Performing regular evaluations for all suppliers, including food suppliers, and pricing arrangements to ensure the company achieves the most favorable commercial deals.
- Handling significant supply issues to guarantee awareness of any potential difficulties.
- Negotiating and managing the suppliers’ contracts.
- Performing spot checks on procurement documents for internal auditing purposes.
- Assignment as a contact with the GP team to solve any problems in the procurement module.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in the same position
- Good command of English
- Excellent computer skills
