Job Description
Main Duties:
- Installing & Configuring Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 & Windows Server2003.
- Administrate VMware and SAN storage
- Installing & Configuring Cisco Switches, Cisco IP Telephony.
- Configuration and testing of any new hardware and software.
- Installing and operating Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Working within a TCP/IP network environment, including DHCP, DNS and Ethernet.
- Handling incoming incidents via the phone / e-mail promptly and effectively.
- Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues.
- Escalating issues where necessary to superiors.
- Investigating and implementing ways of reducing major issue in IT.
- Ensuring that all issue are captured and entered in the logging software.
- Updating support documentation.
- Provide troubleshooting and configuration support for client desktop and networking environment.
- Maintain all local IT, networks, servers, Laptops, computers, printers, scanners, and consumables.
- Manage and resolve issues as part of the IT support team
- Manage users and group within the Active Directory
- Under supervision, provide servers backup and restore database servers.
- Create reports on hardware & consumable status.
- Troubleshoot issues with the fingerprint machines.
Job Requirements
- BSc. Engineering, Good knowledge of Network and related hardware components
- Good knowledge of active directory and exchange.
- Good communication skills written and verbal, Hard worker, team player and fast learner.
- Certified Candidates with following certifications would be given higher priority.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) /Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Virtualization essential (VMware or Hyper-V) / VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Or Backup VERITAS Certified Professional (VCP)
