Job Description
- Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements for all Windows environments throughout the organization
- Participate in the design and review of new Windows systems and Windows application deployments in both workstations and servers.
- Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of Windows systems to meet corporate objectives.
- Perform file system and database configuration and management.
- Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including end user desktop PCs and enterprise data servers.
- Ensure that Windows-based workstations and servers comply with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.
- Define and perform system backups and recovery procedures to ensure full data retrieval.
- Monitor and test system performance; provide statistics and reports.
- Define and implement strategies for integrating Windows and non-Windows operating environments.
- Recommend and execute modifications to Windows systems in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure Windows system security.
- Run the daily Backup for the Production infrastructure.
- Co-ordinate with the ERP Team to solve the issues and complete the tasks
- Check and Upgrade the system infrastructure.
- Conduct research on Windows-related hardware and software in support of procurement and system development efforts.
- Review and deploy new Windows service packs, hot fixes, system updates, and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
- Develop and maintain Windows training materials and systems documentation for educating end users and new IT staff.
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- University degree in the field of computer science
Experience:
- 6 years’ work experience in Microsoft Windows technology
- Certifications in Windows system administration.
- Specific knowledge of all current WINTEL server technologies like HP blade server, Hitachi SAN, VMWare, Windows Failover Cluster Technology is preferred
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 20xx/2019 and related Windows networks.
- Experienced in Active Directory migration, setup, and implementation.
- Working technical knowledge of Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows SharePoint Services, Windows exchange, and Microsoft Operations Manager.
- Strong familiarity with TCP/IP and other networking Tools and protocols
- Understanding of Cloud Computing.
- Good technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards.
- Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
- Manage the Cloud E-Mails “Office 365”
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure “AD, DNS, DHCP”
- System health and generate Inventory Reports For the management.
- Experience Managing the Virtualization layer “ESXi, Hyper-V”
