Vezeeta eased the accessibility of doctors’ booking to be only a click away. You access our website or mobile app to choose your doctor by specialty, geographic area, insurance purveyor and fees. With more than 20,000 patients’ reviews and ratings available on the platform, users can readily determine the doctor with the best medical service and the least waiting time. Once the doctor is chosen, the patient can either book automatically from the website, the mobile app, or contact the call center.
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager that will lead the production of our digital solutions for doctors and patients.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead the training and development initiative to coach the engineers across the whole department on different technical and interpersonal skills.
- Assign work to engineers and evaluate their performance.
- Design, execute, utilize and maintain software engineering applications.
- Lead the development of the billing system into different platforms.
- Manage continuing support and provide system metrics for client facing products.
- Present practical input for strategic technology decisions.
- Contribute in preparing the technology roadmap for Vezeeta.
Job Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Bachelor degree of computer science or computer engineering from a reputable university.
- 6-10 years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in a startup is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams, including performance management.
- Exceptional knowledge and skills in Architecture, C#, JavaScript, database design and API design.
- Knowledge and experience working with Node.js, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ and microservices architecture is a big plus.
- Strong knowledge and first-hand experience in SaaS management practice is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
