Job Description
- The IT Head will be responsible for Managing a secure and effective operation of all workstation systems and related applications, software, hardware, and network which is used in the company privately or as a public usage.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software Main Activities
- Ensure Maintaining a log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
- Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
- Make recommendations about the purchase of technology resources
- Run regular checks on network and data security
- Run and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Oversee and determining time-frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
- Ensure tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory
- Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures.
- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
- Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
- Provide direction for IT team members.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Develop personal growth opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’ degree (Information Technology, computer science, engineering or any Related Field)
- Project Management Studies, Certificate is a Plus
- 8 to 10 years of Total Experience in the IT Field (3 to 5 in a Managerial Position)including (software, hardware, network administration, coding, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, Operating Systems, routing and switching, virtual machines, Database, API’s, Servers,
- Firewalls, Integrated Technologies, Web Design, and Development, Programming, Testing, Documentation, Quality, Backup, Project Management)
- Very Good English Level at least
