Job Description
- Developing GIS product/solution logic within an iterative development lifecycle.
- Participating deeply in detailed design/POCs phase along with other respected teams.
- Conducting and supervising unit-testing tasks and fixing defects, if needed.
- Implementing functional enhancements and application specifications to ensure a satisfactory level of both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Responsible for developing technical documentation.
- Responsible for technically supervising and mentoring junior developers.
- Ensure products/solutions are ready before the releasing with other respected teams
- Work closely with the team leader in task estimation and planning, and performance evaluation.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a GIS software developer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS and AJAX
- Experience in Visual Studio .net
- Experience in REST and SOAP Web Services.
- Experience in SQL Server and Oracle Database.
- Experience in software lifecycle implementation methodologies; Agile, Rational (RUP), Extreme Programming, and/or Test-Driven Development.
- Awareness of GIS concepts and ESRI technologies is a plus
