Job Description
- The Senior Backend Developer will be working throughout the product life cycle in design, development, testing and deployment.
- He/She will be working closely with skilled Front-End Developers and Web Designers to integrate UI elements into the server side and creating APIs for mobile applications helping bring creative ideas to the market.
- Development will be mainly done in PHP, Laravel and Node.js.
Job Requirements
- A degree in computer science or equivalent.
Must have
- Expert in one or more languages: PHP, Java, Python, Ruby or similar.
- Expert in JavaScript with experience in Backbone, Angular or similar.
- Expert in HTML & CSS.
- Expert with Web APIs (RESTFUL APIs)
- Expert in MySQL and PostgreSQL Databases.
- Knowledge of AWS Services.
- Good experience with shared code and use of source control platforms (Preferred GIT).
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
- Passion for web technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies.
Preferable
- Prior experience with Elastic Search Redis, MongoDb, and automated testing.
- Experience with Laravel Framework
- Experience with Web services for mobile Apps.
- Experience working on high-traffic, responsive websites and applications.
- Familiar with Big Data Concepts and Dynamic Reports Generating Tools.
