About the job:

  • In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing and configure hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Help desk.
  • You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company PCs, printers, scanners, laptops and related equipment.
  • Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
  • Provide support for all Information Technology products and services.
  • Support may include answering questions and troubleshooting problems. Additionally, it may involve troubleshooting printer issues.
  • Install & maintains operating systems
  • Solve connection problems between laptop and PC to data show
  • Install new hardware
  • Install and configure printer and scanner
  • Responsible for Computer Labs
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
  • Document internal procedures
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
