Job Description
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Receives products and coordinates delivery
- Prepares loads for shipment
- Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
- Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
Job Requirements
- Experience from 2 to 5 years,
- Fluent English preferably graduate from English School Or University
- A Logistics Coordinator must have a high level of education and experience within an office environment, international shipping and stock management.
- A Logistics Coordinator must be organised and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- The Logistics Coordinator must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions.
- You must be able to efficiently solve problems relating to sales, finance and transportation of goods in locations both national and overseas.
- You must be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to your industry.
