Job Description
- Follow up on inbound shipments and maintain tracking status sheet.
- Communicate with ACE logistics to receive shipping documents’ copies being legalized and send them to broker for unloading containers at Alex customs warehouse.
- Follow up with Finance dept. to receive original shipping documents being stamped by the banks.
- Keep copies of all original shipping documents before sending them to our broker.
- Communicating Shipments invoices with procurement department for Arabic translation.
- Checking commercial invoices against containers PL quantities, values and preparing comprehensive Miami shipments Packing List as needed.
- Monitor customs clearance services provided by broker and maintain records with all advanced cash sent to him.
- Coordinate with governmental and regulatory bodies as needed to ensure import documents compliance are met.
- Create and update products database with HS codes, MSDS, HAZMAT and customs duty fees already paid for similar imported products.
- Link POs numbers to its relative shipments on ERP system after warehouse complete receiving.
- Maintain KPIs suppliers’ logistics and shipping line performance
- Calculate container shipping cost based on size and route
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, finance and IT, to ensure day to day logistics tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
Experience Requirements:
- Must be strong communicators who can juggle many tasks.
- Highly organized with a strong understanding of when shipments are to arrive as well as be sent out.
Key Skills & Core Competencies :
- Analytical, distribution, customs, cross border freight and 3PL management knowledge and good command of English.
- Team work, strong people relationship, customer focus and continuous improvement
Languages:
- Fluent in written, spoken and read English
Computer:
- Skills in the usage of personal computers and related software applications
