Job Description
*The exchange participant is going to travel around Mumbai and Delhi*
- Processes reservations by mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax or central reservation systems referral, from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents.
- Promotes goodwill by being friendly, and helpful to guests, mangers, and fellow employees.
- Walk around with the client and ensuring that they secure whatever services they require.
- Getting info about areas of interest in order to target more clients in particular seasons.
- Making arrangements for clients travel programs.
Main activities:
- Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.
- Determines room rates based on the selling tactics of the hotel. Prepares letters of confirmation.
- Communicate reservation info to front desk, process cancellations.
- Processes deposits on reservations. Track availabilities, develop room revenue, occupancy forecasts.
- Handle daily correspondence. Responds to inquires and make reservations. Keep files are up to date.
