Job Description
- Manage client engagements from kickoff to closure
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and plans, including developing and assigning tasks, managing deliverables.
- Manage customer relationships, including collaboration with sales and product support to successfully deliver the project while managing various stakeholders expectations.
- Monitor project task progress to identify potential slippage, or opportunities to accelerate implementations.
- Work with customer and project team members on identification, documentation, and resolution of all implementation issues and risks.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Manage the financial aspects of the project, including expenses, timesheets, budgets, and contract completion terms.
- Maintain utilization, client satisfaction, and team revenue goals.
- Work with the customer’s project team to ensure overall project success.
- Participate in product and service delivery improvement initiatives.
- Mentor consultants and other team members as appropriate.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of IT project management experience including experience managing projects teams and serving as the primary person interacting with the customer to manage the overall customer relationship
- Knowledge of business processes such as Accounting, Billing, Payroll, CRM
- Proficient in Project Scheduling and Project Lifecycle best practices
- Ability to be effective in a dynamic and fluid work environment
- A positive and resilient mindset
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong customer presentation and expectation management skills
- Strong team management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred, but not required.
