Job Description

  • To evaluate, identify and propose new business opportunities and strategic alliances in new markets, and negotiates and closes deals in the assigned countries to achieve the set targets. To provide a strategic business outlook highlighting competitive environment issues in the different markets.
  • Prepares the annual Export Operation’s budget, obtains approval and monitors expenditures against set budget.
  • Evaluates and qualifies export markets and opportunities through market analysis, business development activities and market intelligence agencies.
  • Establishes the policies and procedures manual of the Export Operation, covering all subject rules and regulations of Egypt and the Importing countries.
  • Searches and investigates the targeted countries legal, economic and political changes that may affect the export operations. Ensures the delivered products regularly comply with each country's rules and regulations.
  • Ensures the appropriate execution of all Export orders conveyed by the Importing markets, while also ensuring their timely delivery to customers with the best quality and price.
  • Liaises with the Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance Functions to enable an efficient export process.
  • Fulfills local governmental requirements, approvals and all legal documentation required, related to the exporting cycle.
  • Approves all contractual agreements with all Customs, Clearance and Shipping agencies, manages and supervises their work, ensuring the compliance to all the standards of CS.
  • Follows up on logistical operations, to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of the shipments to the designated countries.
  • Prepares monthly progress reports covering export activities and achievements against plans to be reviewed by the CEO
  • Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time. Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners to their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process.
  • Monitors the implementation of the on-the-job training to ensure an on-going skills development process to increase team competence.

Job Requirements

  • 6th of October / Sheikh Zayed resident is highly preferable.
