Job Description

  • Supports the operation manager in managing and operating an effective and efficient mechanism for fulfilling all main responsibilities of the division.
  • Manage, supervise, and control the effective performance of the division with efficient utilization of couriers, workers and drivers
  • Manage and operate the monthly action plan for the team under his supervision.
  • Assigning daily/weekly tasks to couriers, workers, and drivers according to job orders.
  • PLan the schedule for workers time-sheet, leaves and discipline to ensure effective performance.
  • Manage direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
  • Planning, organizing and managing the work of subordinate team to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with the company system and customer requirements.
  • Participate in investigating the subordinates in any complaints related to customer or shipper and ensure resolve, and not repeat it.
  • Ensure maximum efficient performance compared with costs in respect of couriers, workers and drivers utilization.
  • Follow-up on the insurance policies of the goods and prepare reports in case of accidents.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the subordinates’ incentives.
  • Follow-up on the equipment and cars maintenance, and also solve workers and equipment daily problems.
  • Report equipment and human resources activities.
  • Responsible for the filling system and follow-up on maintaining filling mechanism and system.
  • Manage and supervise outsource tasks in case of insufficient resources and coordinate with the concerned departments.
  • Support the operation manager in all assigned tasks when needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in management or other related fields preferred to be in logistics/ industrial or commercial companies.
  • Minimum of 7 years in a managerial position, preferably related to Logistics.
  • Proven experience in operations, business management and people management.
