Job Description
- Supervision of Civil Works Unit.
- Design, develop, create and maintain small-scale to large-scale construction projects in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other.
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Liaising with variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.
- Prepares material specs and architectural design for buildings.
- Supervises/Approves civil structure design, constructive drawings of buildings, plot plans and foundation drawings.
- Resolving design and development problems.
- Managing budgets and project resources.
- Facility expansion: drive short- and long-term facility space planning tools, processes, detailed layouts, costs, and timing to optimize space across corporate.
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
- Controls of subcontracted civil engineering documents
- Supervises the maintenance staff and schedules for preventative and critical tasks.
- Designs maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
- Monitors and controls maintenance costs.
- Writes maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
- Deals with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
- Develops systems and procedures to ensure the proper conditions for equipment and property.
- Communicates with Government agencies to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations.
- Enforces safety procedures and all applicable regulations.
- Oversees safety and appearance of facilities and equipment.
- Manages financial aspects of the Engineering department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
- Prepares financial budgets and presents proposals for capital projects to senior executives.
- Prepares Capital and Repairs budgets for Engineering.
- Develops, implements, and directs all emergency programs.
- Leads multiple concurrent projects of cross-functional teams including external vendor partners.
- Coordinates renovation bidding, defines the cost and scope of the project, and oversees the general
Job Requirements
- Proven Work experience in civil Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Proficiency in site layout, utility design, etc
- Experience in developing Preventative Maintenance programs, and performing routine maintenance in accordance with Preventative Maintenance schedule
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA guidelines and standards
- Understands how to handle and dispose of hazardous materials
- Project Management experience
- Experience in controlling Maintenance budget
- Field of Study : Engineering (Civil, Construction)
