Job Description
Skills &Values framework creation and integration
- Research, design and document skills framework
- Research, design, develop and document values framework
- Integrate skills& values with subjects in cooperation with curriculum team and with school staff (facilitators and supervisors)
- Design Assessment guide for skills and values according to the framework
- Design training objectives for skills and values
- Deliver training/workshops to facilitators for skills and values integration and or implementation
School Culture and Climate Framework Creation
- Design school culture manual
- Create Objectives/outline for showcase
- Design multi-grade methodology implementation guide
- Design background research for classroom environment
- Design standards requirements for learner’s portfolios and process of reporting to parents
- Design service learning program framework
- Co-create with curriculum designer summer trimester objective and its programs and decide if there is a need for partnerships
- Review and develop behavior management system
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Masters in Character Education is a must, Masters or Diploma in Child psychology is preferred.
- Graduate of Faculty of Education is a plus
- Specialized knowledge: Excellent Researching skills- Process and tools for integrating skills and values in curricula- Assessment tools and clear processes for skills and values
- Skills: Organized- Accountable- critical thinker-quick learner-hard worker
Competencies:
- Flexible
- Passionate about character education
- Aware of Egyptian context and problems
- Interested in Education, Children, Learning and Change making
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in teaching in primary/preparatory schools or NGOs; designing and developing programs for character education. Must have firsthand experience with same age group
