Job Description
- Executes sales plan with necessary adjustments in relation to changing market conditions. Assists in development of programs, policies, and goals that will expand business opportunities.
- Generates and evaluates sales leads and business opportunities, Drives the Bid & LOA process.
- Prepare weekly sales forecast and target account pipeline updates for assigned accounts.
- Meeting allocated Sales and Margin targets.
- Retains customer interface for accountable projects under execution.
- Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationship with current client base as well as developing new relationships with prospective customers through creating demand for Madkour and pursuing opportunities to fruition.
- Understand and use customer and industry drivers for success in accounts.
- Understand competitors, their strategies and counter-tactics.
- Maintaining all existing and prospective customer information. Participate in contract reviews
- Resolute tracking of market developments in the assigned sales regions, continuous updating of the project list (addition of projects and updating progress data)
- Conducting contract negotiations, incl. systematic documentation and communication of the negotiation results, to ensure achievement of the planned volume of new orders in line with the target margin
- Liaise with customer in order to coordinate activities to meet customers’ requirements.
- Frequent visits to the decision-makers of customers and business partners to cultivate relationships (preliminary acquisition)
- Communication within Sales & Tendering team and stakeholders; seeks active feedback
- Follow up on all leads and report the results to the sales manager
- Communicate, follow up and co-ordinate pursuit activities in a timely and effective manner.
Job Requirements
- University degree in electro mechanical discipline or equivalent job experience.
- Preferable 2 years experience in power generation industry.
- Minimum 5-7 years as a field based sales person.
- Experiences in account management/project management will be an advantage
- The ability to identify new sales opportunities and demonstrate a proven track record in consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Highly motivated and organized with the ability to work to strict deadlines and be flexible in their work approach
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of domestic business culture.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and planning / priority management skills.
- Mature personality and innovative.
- Frequent traveling is required.
