Job Description
Main Purpose:
- To manage Juice and Dairy production to produce quality products in the most cost effective, safe and hygienic way on daily basis.
Major Responsibilities:
- Setting up the daily, monthly and yearly production plan based on sales actual requirement.
- Handle R&D operations and work on new formulations for developing a new product and improve the existing products.
- Develop, implement and monitor various control systems where applicable.
- Supervise all production stages, starting from raw materials to the finished product with Good manufacturing practices and operate the whole process within defined safety & quality standards.
- Control manpower & provide resources efficiently to achieve production targets & to motivate the work forces to meet future challenges by managing budgeted number of manpower, Budgeted OT rate & Cost per unit.
- Responsible for cost control by controlling & minimizing wastage of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials & consumables etc.
- Training on an ongoing basis of production people on identified needs with proper record keeping, evaluate employees and make recommendations.
- Monitor Plant and Machinery problems, Breakdowns and inform maintenance department immediately to solve the issue.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in Juice & Dairy production plant as Manager
- Experience in research and development of new products based on market demands.
- Well versed with GMP, HACCP and ISO standards.
- Good operating knowledge of Ultra Heat Treatment Process (UHT).
- Excellent computer skills.
- Previous experience in ERP is preferred.
