Job Description
- Passionately hunting for new business opportunities by systematically targeting shippers and importers with regular traffic movements by air particularly on our core trade lanes
- Generating and following up sales leads
- Providing clients with competitive proposals and actively following up quotations
- Replying to tenders and securing volume movers accounts
- Meeting prospective and existing clients to understand their business needs and objectives
- Consultative selling / Providing value added services to clients
- Creating SOP’s and working closely with Operations to ensure a smooth transaction for each customer
- Liaising with Internal Sales Team as well as Marketing team to send out promotional mailings
Job Requirements
- Proven record of sales success for at least 4 years
- Knowledge and understanding (ideally with direct experience) of freight forwarding
- Proven success in acquisition of new business is essential
- Excellent industry knowledge with the ability to sell import / export air services
- Self-motivated and target driven with ambition to succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients
- Whilst some candidates may have an existing portfolio of clients we are equally interested in any talented sales professional with right qualities.
