Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Builds Concrete Surgeons’ market position as a leader in providing & enhancing concrete services through developing strong relations with Construction companies, Factories, Projects, Consulting companies, Authorities, and Academic institutions.
  • Actively drive market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships with reputable customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned market landscape and dynamics.
  • Develop existing and new business via prospecting, qualifying Concrete Surgeons for construction sector using consultative-selling skills.
  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle which includes, but not limited to; specification review, site visits, technical and commercial proposal preparation and negotiation.
  • Develop long term relationships with existing and new key customers; such as, contractors, factories and project consultants and track their information, forecasts and reports.
  • Conduct and represent the company at promotions, seminars and other functions, candidate should also aim for membership at professional associations in accordance with the company policy.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Job Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. (at least) In Civil / Structural / Construction
  • Knowledge in concrete properties, testing and production with minimum of two years' experience in construction sales and concrete additives to key customers in the market.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with commercial and technical staff at different levels and from different departments within the same company, such as QA/QC, Design and project management.
  • Knowledge of international codes/standards (ASTM, ACI,) is an advantage.
  • Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team
  • Goals oriented, strong planning and organization skills, Market Knowledge, high energy level, high professionalism and charisma, technically oriented.
  • The Candidate should own a car.
