Job Description
- Responsible for continuous searching, and contacting of suppliers to achieve highest quality and lowest prices for the supplied items.
- Participate in the supplier selection process in coordination with the management.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and conditions with different suppliers.
- Receive samples, and prices from potential suppliers, and submit it to the concerned departments for technical approval, and prices update.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers, with the previously approved samples.
- Continuously update the suppliers' price lists according to new market variables.
- Evaluate supplier’s performance, and quality of product received.
- Make sure of the continuous improvement of the supplier’s overall performance.
- Update safety stocks on ERP system for purchased items, on regular basis.
- Coordinate receiving the purchased items with the different departments in the organization.
- Ensure the safety of received items, and contact suppliers for compensation in case of issues.
- Establishes and maintains the integrity of the administrative file system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree [Business Administration, or equivalent]
- Males [35 years old is Max. age]
- Cairo or El-Sharqiya residents.
- [Shobra - Helioples - Nasr City - New Cairo / 10th of Ramadan City - Zagazig and preferred]
- 1-3 years of proven Local Purchasing experience.
- Good command of English language.
- High Microsoft Office skills.
- High Presentation and Communication skills.
- High Problem Solving, and planning skills.
- Ownership, Time management, and Handling skills.
- High Analytical, and Negotiation skills.
- Able to accept Diversity and Change.
- Able to work outdoor with 30%+ of the time.
- Able to work on the 10th of Ramadan City. And visit other sites.
- Have a valid driving license.
