Job Description
- We're a Kuwait-based startup building our engineering office in Al Maadi, Cairo.
- You'll be our go-to backend engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of the API that serves the Web, iOS and Android clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to architect and ship new features regularly,
- Ensure the performance and quality of backend services
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and smash bugs
- Help maintain code quality and organization
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years shipping back-end services
- Shipped at least one RESTful API as core developer
- Proficient with Ruby on Rails and MySQL
- Proficient with Git
- Experience in deploying back-end services.
- Experience in EmberJS is a bonus.
- Familiarity with JSONAPI-spec is a bonus.
