Job Description
- Reports to the Chief Technology Officer and builds dynamic portals and websites for the company’s different brands while working with colleagues and clients to understand user needs and requirements.
- Writes, tests, and debugs code for websites and mobile and applications.
- Maintains knowledge of programming languages and monitors website analytics.
- Help recruit a team of web developers by interviewing, coaching and mentoring them.
- Generates periodic reports from existing sites to benefit management decisions as well as to fulfill client requirements.
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, and schedules; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and platforms.
- Updates job knowledge by researching new internet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Min. 7 years work experience.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks especially Laravel is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility and security compliance.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Strong knowledge of mobile application development (iOS and Android)
