Pharma Mart a growing pharmaceutical organization with a diversified portfolio of locally manufactured and patented imported products from the USA, Finland, Belgium and France with operating branches in the USA (R&D office) and in the GULF area is expanding and seeking to hire a district manager with the following JD:
- Guides and coaches sales team to improve their efficiency and plans for their training, development and retention.
- Creating the overall vision for his/her district and implementing policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their target.
- Ensures that each MR delivers value and excellence to the physicians.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers in coordination with sales representatives in order to create positive impact on the company’s image and business goals.
- Coordinates with the distributors to ensure prompt delivery of sales commitments as well as efficient contentment of market demands.
- Submits reports to his/her direct manager on his/her daily activities, promotional programs, the overall performance of his/her area including preparing a written evaluation of individual field visits.
- Supports and directs the application of the company’s policies, regulations and management rules/directions.
- Handles misunderstandings promptly and fairly within the scope of his/her authority and practices of the company.
- Consistently reviews and analyzes the performance records of his/her area and each representative reporting to him/her.
- Determines where performance deviates from established goals, investigates the cause for lack of progress & takes remedial action.
- Conducts monthly performance appraisal sessions with each representative under his/her supervision.
- Recruits, assists in the selection and orients new representatives to the job.
- Keeps a personal and subordinate image that reflects the company’s projected image to the pharmaceutical market.
- Keeps a continuously updated data list of the medical community.
- Territory mapping: Setting sales target per territory for MR and its phasing across the year.
Job Requirements
District Managers Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Pharmacy, Veterinary or Science.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- At least one year of experience in wound healing products.
- Having a car is a must.
- Excellent command in English.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
