Job Description
- Assisting Regional Finance Director and responsible for labor distributions, bank account reconciliation process, and vendor setup.
- Responsible for General Ledger activities related to:
- Support all AMIDEAST field offices located throughout the Middle East and North Africa in all accounting aspects.
- Analyze general ledger accounts “cash accounts, AR accounts with related aging report, AP accounts, and inventory accounts” for Amideast offices.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations, providing recommendations for corrections.
- Vendor Setup and Vendor maintenance ensuring standardization and consistency of the database
- Support field office accountants with COSTPOINT problem solving
- Automate and streamline processes to enhance accuracy of data while minimizing manual efforts
- Develop process documentation for all processes
- Assist in supporting Field Offices in all accounting aspects
- Handle Exchange rate monthly update, ensuring that the internal policy is being followed
- Assist in Employee/Project Number Linking After Initial Project Set Up
- Customer Set-Up and Maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Extensive experience in Excel
- Preferably CMA Holder is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and
- 4 years in a General Accounting capacity, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience using MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- A solid understanding of accounting principles
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful in a team environment
- 1 year experience using Deltek’s Costpoint software, preferred
